Stewardship Education for Children

Engage young people and students in thought and discussion about managing the resources with which we've been blessed using the Kids Into Discipleship and Stewardship (K.I.D.S.) approach.

Stewardship Education for Children

Lutheran directors of Christian education, teachers and pastors can use LCEF's well-known Kids Into Discipleship and Stewardship (K.I.D.S.) Stamp program and K.I.D.S. Count to help teach young people the importance of giving back what God has shared with us.

K.I.D.S. Count Stewardship Lessons

K.I.D.S. Count curriculum resource can be used alone or in conjunction with the Stamp program. Stewardship-focused lessons for students kindergarten through eighth grade teach children God-pleasing choices and how to manage His gifts.

Concordia Publishing's curriculum experts crafted K.I.D.S. Count lessons so they can be used in multiple educational environments—Sunday schools, mid-week programs, Lutheran schools, or at home—and taught in approximately 40 minutes to an hour. The lessons can be easily incorporated into math, social studies, or health studies, where various aspects of resource management are discussed.

K.I.D.S. Count lessons are flexible and include hands-on activities to keep kids learning. Skits, puppets, activity sheets, posters, crafts, indoor and outdoor games, cooking, field trips, and service projects are just some of the fun ways K.I.D.S. Count makes each lesson come alive.

Useful and Fun Tools

The new Stewardship Box helps students learn to save, budget, and set goals. It is broken into three sections titled Share-Save-Spend. This can be used in conjunction with the K.I.D.S. Stamp Program and the K.I.D.S. Count curriculum.

The K.I.D.S. Count curriculum resource includes a variety of activities that are easy-to-use and engage the students in thought and discussion. Many illustrate the lessons of sharing and saving, including service project ideas for older students. The Program Coordinator's Guide is a useful tool for using the materials in a variety of settings.

Investments Mean More with LCEF

Shopping around for rates? Consider the “ministry dividend” earned with an LCEF investment. Your investment helps Lutheran organizations and church workers borrow at reasonable rates, which can help create ministry and education opportunities. That’s a return that lasts for generations.

Lift Up Your Leaders

LCEF’s workshops help members become more effective and focused, as well as re-energized for ministry. Review our offerings and discuss with your leaders which might best suit your organization’s needs.

LCEF is a nonprofit religious organization; therefore, LCEF investments are not FDIC-insured bank deposit accounts. This is not an offer to sell investments, nor a solicitation to buy. LCEF will offer and sell its securities only in states where authorized. The offer is made solely by LCEF's Offering Circular. Investors should carefully read the Offering Circular, which more fully describes associated risks.
