NAILS

The NAILS program is designed to reenergize congregations and help young people channel their enthusiasm and desire to actively serve the Lord in construction and renovation projects for LCMS ministries.

NAILS

As a young person, you'd like to be involved in active modes of ministry. Your goals of higher education and service can be melded through the NAILS program. You earn extra money during breaks from school, while spending time with fellow Christians who enjoy furthering the Lord's work. To find out the details, read our brochure, or contact LCEF. To read about some of the projects NAILS members have served on and chat with them, visit the NAILS Facebook page.

Once you've decided to join this unique ministry, complete the enrollment form, get the appropriate signatures, and mail to:

ATTN: NAILS Enrollment Coordinator
PO Box 229009
St. Louis, MO 63122-9009

The enrollment form asks for general information including a pastor's or school official's signature, information about skills, work history, and medical condition(s). Once accepted to the roster, the student's name is entered into a database and a resume is compiled. When an enrolled member indicates a willingness to work for a specific congregation project, this resume is forwarded to the congregation and serves as a basis for its decision on who the congregation will hire for a particular project.

Investments Mean More with LCEF

Shopping around for rates? Consider the “ministry dividend” earned with an LCEF investment. Your investment helps Lutheran organizations and church workers borrow at reasonable rates, which can help create ministry and education opportunities. That’s a return that lasts for generations.

Funds for Lutheran Education

Funds put into a Coverdell Education Savings Account IRA can be used at any level of schooling, not just college. Distributions from this type of IRA are tax-free for qualified elementary, secondary or higher education costs, which can include tuition, computer equipment, room and board. And best of all, they can be used to send your children or grandchildren to an LCMS school or university.

LCEF is a nonprofit religious organization; therefore, LCEF investments are not FDIC-insured bank deposit accounts. This is not an offer to sell investments, nor a solicitation to buy. LCEF will offer and sell its securities only in states where authorized. The offer is made solely by LCEF's Offering Circular. Investors should carefully read the Offering Circular, which more fully describes associated risks.
