K.I.D.S. Programs

LCEF developed Kids Into Discipleship and Stewardship (K.I.D.S.) programs to help teach young people at an early age the importance of giving back what God has shared with us.

K.I.D.S. Programs

The Kids Into Discipleship and Stewardship (K.I.D.S.) Stamp Program provides a fun and exciting way to build God's kingdom through lessons in sharing, saving and spending.

Features:

  • Young people receive their own K.I.D.S. stamp book to start their LCEF investment.
  • Activity books are available to teach lessons about discipleship and stewardship.
  • Program provides base for mission education as children learn about the ministry opportunities for which they are investing.
  • Teaches the basics of managing money and earning interest within a Biblical context.
  • NEW K.I.D.S. participants receive their first order of stamps FREE (up to a $100 value.) (Subsequent orders will be charged.)
  • All supporting program materials (excluding stamps) are FREE.

School Stewardship Lessons

Complement your Stamp program with the K.I.D.S. Count curriculum resource. Stewardship-focused lessons for students kindergarten through eighth grade teach children God-pleasing choices and how to manage His gifts.

K.I.D.S. Count lessons can be taught in less than an hour, are flexible and include hands-on activities to keep kids learning. Skits, puppets, activity sheets, posters, crafts, indoor and outdoor games, cooking, field trips, and service projects are just some of the fun ways K.I.D.S. Count makes each lesson come alive.

Funds put into a Coverdell Education Savings Account IRA can be used at any level of schooling, not just college. Distributions from this type of IRA are tax-free for qualified elementary, secondary or higher education costs, which can include tuition, computer equipment, room and board. And best of all, they can be used to send your children or grandchildren to an LCMS school or university.
