National Student Marketing Competition
The third annual National Student Marketing Competition, sponsored by the Lutheran Church Extension Fund, is an incredible opportunity to partner with the Concordia Universities as we further our mission of serving The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod (LCMS).
The 2014 competition assignment asks students to develop a cooperative marketing plan involving a partnership between LCEF and LCMS elementary and secondary schools, individually and collectively. The desired outcome of this cooperative marketing plan is twofold:
- Increased enrollment in Lutheran schools, resulting in sustainability of the school, and an effective mission offering to the school's community.
- Increased awareness of LCEF as a ministry partner, empowering ministries in Kingdom work.
The competition culminates April 4, 2014, at the LCMS International Center in St. Louis, Mo., with presentations by the participating teams.
LCEF looks forward to the opportunity to interact with Concordia University students and providing them with a unique "real world" educational experience. We also look forward to the reverse mentoring the students provide when they share their view of the world. In addition to the benefit of the experience, the teams also take home a monetary award for their schools.
